BEACHES: There are
around fourteen beaches in St. Barthelemy. They all have beautiful, sparkling white sand. All of
them are open to the public and free of all cost. Some of them are topless beaches. Tourists can go
for a hike along some of the beaches. A few of the beaches are preferred by families and are
crowded on holidays, while some are secluded and quiet.
ATTRACTIONS: There are an amazing range of spas
and wellness centres in St. Barths. There are dance, aerobics and yoga lessons held. For the more
adventurous, there is on offer water sports like scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, jet skiing and
so on. People can go for yacht trips that are very popular. The best and most exciting attraction,
by far, is the submarine ride.
SHOPPING: St. Barth is a shopper’s ultimate stop
as it is a duty free port. There are a large number of designer brands available. Major luxury
brands have their outlets in St. Barths. The major shopping destinations include Gustavia and St.
Jean. There are also a number of little shops that sell knick knacks and souvenirs to tourists.
ST. BARTHELEMY’S NIGHTLIFE: There are a few
amazing places where one can enjoy nightlife in St. Barth. There is no movie theatre, so a tennis
court serves as a movie house where people use a projector. There are a number of cocktail bars
inside restaurants like La Plage, where there is live entertainment on a lot of nights.
DINING: St. Barth’s is a food lover’s heaven.
There is a wide variety of different kinds of cuisine available. One can choose from local snacks
to ornate meals in fine restaurants. The French cuisine is especially popular in St. Barth. The
Creole cuisine is a must try as well.
