Things to do in Antigua

Beaches: There are 365 beaches on Antigua, one for each day of the year. The great majority rest inside the calm, protected waters of the island's Caribbean side. All are open to the public, and so the challenge posed to a visitor is not how to gain access to the best of them but simply how to locate the beach that suits one's taste. Exploring on your own is the best way to do this, although it is wise to bring a companion along to particularly isolated locations. 

Attractions: Antigua is more than just beaches. Historical sites, nature preserves, hiking, bird watching, tennis, golf, hunting, riding, boating, diving, snorkelling, fishing, swimming with stingrays, windsurfing, sailing, eco tours, zip lines, and scenic tours are some of the other attractions on Antigua.


Shopping: Antigua has a wide variety of shops and boutiques to offer. There are also a number of shops where you can make duty free purchases. From beautiful Antiguan handmade gifts & souvenirs to cool Caribbean clothing there are shops where you will find your own Caribbean treasure to take home with you.

 Antigua's night life: Antigua offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars and nightly entertainment throughout the island. The restaurants in Antigua offer fine dining with both international and authentic Caribbean & Antiguan cuisine. You can also hear live music at some of these venues. There are many places that you can enjoy drinking in Antigua anything from local drinks to the finest wines and champagnes.

 Dining: Antigua has a rich restaurant community that offers a great variety of foods and cuisines, making the most of the local products. You can find excellent Italian, French, Asian, & Caribbean meal choices. There are many options of fine dining as well as many road side alternatives.
